Monocouche render, also known as thru coloured render is a cement based product and finished with a scraped finish.

Topcoats are the decrative and protective layers that are applied to a range of basecoats like thincoat renders and can be used to retrofit old fasades. These can be tinted to any colour and being silicone/acrylic based are highly flexible and waterproof for maximium protection.

Roughcasting, also known as Tyrolean is a splatter finish popular in the Cotswolds and on old cottages. This can be applied at different thickness and textures to match existing buildings.

EWI (External Wall Insulation) is where a layer of insulation is apllied to the outside of a building to improve U Values and thermal efficiency of a building. It is the covered with a thincoat render systems and topped with either a Silicone / Acrylic topcoat.

Thincoat renders are high polymer based products, keeping its strength when applied thinner and have reinforcing mesh imbedded in it. These renders are not a finish and must be coated in a silicone or acrylic topcoat.

Traditional render is a two coat systems of a sand and cement mix. First layer is applied with a scratch in and a top layer is then applied and floated to a finish ready to be painted with masonry paint.

Pebble dashing is simular to traditional render, but has stone or chippings flicked into the suraface to give it its finish. Not commonly done anymore only to patch old building or to match extensions.

Dot and Dabbing is the application of plasterboard to block/ brickwork. They are stuck with adhesive in dots and boards are leveled to straighten the wall. It has become popular over traditional plaster for its speed and little mess.

We are a fully approved and recommended installer of Weber floor products. These bagged liquid screed are unlike traditional screeds, they can be applied thinner and are stronger. They also can have light foot traffic on them in 2 hours to reduce disruption.
